Registration process

What are the participation fees?

Please see our fee categories for the different sectors below. The fees stated on the website and in the registration form are excluding 10% VAT. The EHFG reserves the right to define an organisation‘s or participant‘s eligibility for the fee categories on a case by case basis.

  • Civil society, science & academia fee:
Applies to staff principally employed by universities, patient and consumer organisations, and civil society NGOs chiefly concerned with collective action around a purpose distinctly divorced from public or commercial stakeholders' interests.

  • Government & administration fee:
Applies to employees of ministries, intergovernmental organisations, supranational agencies, European Parliament, regional or local governments, national research institutes & national institutes of public health, national health services, and national professional chambers.

  • Standard fee:
Applies to all participants not covered by the other fee categories (incl. but not limited to private sector representatives from side of companies, start-ups and consultancies, industry umbrella organisations & trade associations, insurance providers incl. public and private sickness funds and insurance provider umbrella organisations; irrespective of form of organisation and applying also to NPOs/NGOs in the aforementioned categories).

In order to successfully register for any category but the standard fee, you must submit a confirmation that you are principally employed at the organisation you are registering with. To this end, you can provide proof either in the shape of an official document in German or English declaring your affiliation, or a link to a current webpage confirming your affiliation.

If you have any questions regarding the fee category, we urge you to reach out to office@ehfg.org with any questions before registering.

How to use the online conference tool?

Where will the EHFG 2021 take place?

The EHFG 2021 will be a digital event. We will be using Brella, an online platform on which you can attend and interact with sessions, network with other participants and create a personal event schedule. You will get access to the platform shortly before the start of the conference.

What do I need in order to participate?

The EHFG 2021 conference will be hosted in the conferencing system Brella and embed elements such as live streaming, video calls and polling tools. In order to experience the conference, you will need to be connected to the internet. We recommend using the browser Google Chrome for the best conference experience, should you experience issues in other browsers. In some instances, you might have to enable cookies and disable ad-blocking software, or settings that prohibit forwarding links, to enable the full conference experience. To partake actively in some conference elements like face-to-face networking with other participants and breakout rooms during sessions, we recommend connecting a microphone and camera.

A Brella helpdesk for troubleshooting will be available to participants during the entire conference. EHFG does not take on responsibility for participants not being able to enjoy the full conference experience due to the quality of their internet connection, or their own technical setup.

Who can I contact in case of technical issues?
There will be technical support for participants during the entire EHFG online conference. If you have any issues accessing the event platform Brella, we recommend you to get in touch directly with the helpdesk here. You can find answers to the most frequently asked questions here  and more general information for attendees here.
